Job summary

SiFly Aviation seeks an SQA Engineer to own automated testing and the bench infrastructure for Q12 aircraft development in Ankara, Turkey. You’ll build regression suites across flight software, autonomy, MAVLink, cameras, and operator apps, and run SITL/HITL tests to keep the system healthy.

You will work closely with the SQA Lead in Santa Clara and other flight-software teams, shaping testing strategy for a small, fast-moving organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong Python for test automation and tooling.
• Ability to design tests and write reproducible bug reports.
• Linux/system-level debugging across distributed systems.
• Experience wiring tests into CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Exposure to embedded/hardware-in-the-loop testing is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English to coordinate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Build automated regression suites for flight software, autonomy, MAVLink interfaces, cameras, video pipelines, and operator workflows.
• Run SITL/HITL simulations and maintain bench/infrastructure aligned to real aircraft.
• Keep CI/CD pipelines running, schedule nightly tests, and manage local/remote simulator instances.
• Own Ankara bench hardware tests and ensure setups reflect current aircraft configuration.
• Test the full connected system including 5G, Wi‑Fi, Mender OTA, MQTT/REST integrations.
• Triage field issues into regression tests and reproduce failures for rapid fixes.
• Collaborate with SQA Lead in Santa Clara and other engineering teams to gate changes.
