Job summary

Nordex Group Türkiye, a leading international wind turbine manufacturer, seeks qualified internship candidates to join our Finance teams in Istanbul. The Financial Reporting Specialist will handle IFRS-based reporting, monthly closings, and analytics to support group consolidation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance, 3–4 years in financial reporting or accounting, strong Excel and SAP skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, or accounting.
• Big Four audit experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in monthly closing, general ledger management, and P&L reporting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and SAP knowledge.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Results-oriented team player with attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Coordinate monthly closing activities and ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.
• Review the accuracy of general ledger entries and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Support consolidation and reporting with group companies and regional finance teams.
• Contribute to management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting through financial analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audits and respond to audit requests on time.
• Monitor IFRS policy changes and integrate them into processes.
• Collaborate with global partners for related tasks or assignments.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist in our İstanbul Office you will be expected to be responsible in thefollowing daily operations in;

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Coordinate monthly closing activities and ensure the timely completion of all reporting requirements.
• Review the accuracy of general ledger entries and perform account reconciliation processes.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Support consolidation and reporting activities in coordination with group companies and regional finance teams.
• Contribute to management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes through financial analysis and insights.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring audit requests are addressed accurately and on time.
• Monitor changes in accounting policies and IFRS requirements and integrate them into existing processes.
• Working closely with global partners for related tasks or assignments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, or accounting.
• Previous experience in the audit department of a Big Four firm is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience with financial reporting processes.
• Experience in monthly closing, general ledger management, and P&L reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of SAP.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Results-oriented team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
