Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial content, journalism, or market analysis.
• Proven leadership of a content team, edition, or website.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish markets including BIST and macro drivers.
• Excellent Turkish writing/editing with English proficiency.

We're looking for someone with deep expertise in Turkish financial markets who follows BIST closely, understands the country's macroeconomic landscape, and stays connected to the conversations shaping Turkey's investing community. Strong editorial judgment and the ability to translate market developments into high-quality financial content are essential to success in this role.

Working across content, edition management, website operations, and InvestingPro, you'll oversee financial content, define local content priorities, collaborate with global teams, and ensure the Turkish edition delivers a relevant, high-quality experience for local investors.

This role is offered on a full-time freelance basis

What you'll do

• Own the editorial agenda for the Turkish market by monitoring financial markets, macroeconomic developments, investor sentiment, and emerging content opportunities.
• Produce timely market analysis, commentary, and educational content tailored to Turkish investors.
• Translate market developments and audience insights into editorial priorities and content initiatives.
• Define and execute the content strategy for the Turkish market.
• Write, edit, and oversee financial content while supporting InvestingPro awareness and subscription growth.
• Use AI and performance data to optimize content quality, engagement, and conversion.

Edition Leadership & Operations

• Lead the Turkish edition, maintaining editorial quality standards and coordinating priorities with the Affiliate Marketing Representative.
• Collaborate with global editorial, product, growth, and technology teams to execute local initiatives.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Turkish website and mobile apps, including localization, publishing, and product updates.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience in financial content, journalism, or market analysis, with a strong portfolio covering Turkish or regional markets.
• Proven experience leading a content team, editorial function, edition, or website.
• Genuine passion for financial markets, with a habit of closely following BIST, Turkish macroeconomic developments, market movements, and investor sentiment.
• Deep understanding of Turkish financial markets, including BIST equities, FX, commodities, TCMB policy, inflation dynamics, and key macroeconomic drivers.
• Strong grasp of fundamental market concepts, including equity valuation, market cycles, monetary policy mechanics, and risk/return principles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Turkish, with advanced proficiency in English.
• First‑hand knowledge of Turkish investor communities, financial media, influencers, and platforms that shape retail investor sentiment.
• Proficiency with modern AI tools and the ability to apply them to improve content quality, research efficiency, and editorial workflows.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and CMS platforms, with the ability to use them to support content performance.
• Active investor or trader with practical experience in financial markets.

Nice to have

• Experience with InvestingPro or the Investing.com product suite.
• Background in video or social content for financial audiences (X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
