Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in Beylikdüzü/Istanbul is seeking a Factory Finance Business Partner to lead the Controlling team at the Buga Factory and partner with senior management on financial strategy and performance.

The role oversees budgeting, cost control, profitability analyses, and KPI reporting across national and international stakeholders, interfacing with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, IT, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in business/finance, controlling, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional Controlling experience in manufacturing or international business environments.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and US GAAP accounting principles.
• High IT affinity and proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Controlling team.
• Act as trusted business partner to management with insightful analyses, reporting and recommendations.
• Own annual budgeting and financial planning, focusing on personnel and operating costs.
• Conduct profitability and cost analyses with Business Unit Managers; support improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present KPIs and financial results to national/international stakeholders.
• Improve controlling/finance processes and implement new solutions in collaboration with Business Units.
• Assist monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under Turkish GAAP and US GAAP.

Buga Factory - Finance Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Controlling team
• Act as a trusted business partner to the management team by providing insightful analyses, reporting, and recommendations that support the financial strategy and performance of the Buga manufacturing site
• Take full responsibility for the annual budgeting and financial planning process, with a particular focus on personnel and operating costs
• Conduct profitability and cost analyses in close cooperation with Business Unit Managers and support the implementation and monitoring of improvement initiatives
• Prepare and present KPIs, financial results, and project updates to national and international stakeholders on a regular basis
• Analyze, optimize, and further develop existing controlling and finance processes while driving the implementation of efficient new solutions in collaboration with relevant Business Units
• Support the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Turkish GAAP and US GAAP
• Work closely with international Finance teams within a global matrix organization, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, IT and at the same time working closely with Buga Factory Leadership team.
• Lead and support business projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational development projects within the Finance function
• Oversee the financial and commercial management of subcontractors, including budgeting, cost tracking, invoice validation, and performance monitoring
• Manage and maintain intercompany pricing structures for the Buga factory product portfolio

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, including proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, mid-sized, or international business environment
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and US GAAP accounting principles
• High level of IT affinity and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems, knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
• Fluent Turkish and very good English communication skills, both written and spoken
