Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced finance and accounting professional to design rigorous, scalable benchmark tasks across FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, and reconciliations. This remote contractor role emphasizes practical judgment and precise instructions that enable reliable evaluation by reviewers.

You will develop supporting documents, grading rubrics, and example materials, ensuring tasks reflect real-world finance environments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations or closely related field with direct responsibility.
• Experience developing or applying structured review standards (checklists, rubrics, etc.).
• Strong written English; ability to produce precise instructions and documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote contractor role and meet deadlines.
• CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA qualification is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, multi-step finance and accounting tasks based on practical workflows (FP&A, reporting, audit, reconciliations).
• Develop clear task instructions and objective grading rubrics for consistent evaluation.
• Create challenging scenarios requiring professional judgment and interpretation of source materials.
• Prepare or source supporting materials (spreadsheets, ledgers, financial statements, policy docs).
• Review tasks for clarity and gradability; flag ambiguous items.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule maintaining quality and consistency.
