Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Gaziantep, Turkey, seeks a Customer Engineer - Power (Field Service Specialist) to install, commission, maintain, and repair UPS and critical power systems at customer sites. The role covers the region with visits mainly within two hours of Istanbul and involves on-call support when required.

Qualified candidates have an electrical engineering background, UPS experience, and ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, or critical power infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.
• Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on UPS and battery systems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and service activities per Vertiv procedures and quality standards.
• Diagnose faults, perform inspections and measurements, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to customers, including on-call involvement when required.
• Ensure all service activities are completed safely, professionally, and on time.
• Prepare and submit service reports, maintenance records, and fault documentation accurately.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
• Identify and report technical risks, equipment issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and Health & Safety requirements.
• Travel domestically and internationally when required.
