Job summary

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Kahramanmaraş is seeking an Economic Recovery Assistant to support participants in selecting self- or wage-employment paths. You will conduct intake sessions, coordinate with program officers, and maintain records while acting as receptionist at the livelihoods center.

Fluency in Turkish and Arabic is required, along with a background in economics or related fields. The role focuses on field-based implementation of economic recovery activities, ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience in economic recovery or livelihoods.
• Experience in humanitarian work with displaced individuals preferred.
• Understanding refugees' rights and protection issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wage and self-employment intake sessions with participants.
• Share feedback on intake forms and local community trends with team leaders.
• Perform follow-up sessions and report findings to Officers and Team Leader.
• Capture protection and safety risks during intake and refer as needed.
• Support Self Employment and Wage Employment officers with program tasks.
• Maintain documentation of tools and forms and upload online.
• Act as receptionist at livelihoods center and greet visitors.
