Job summary

UNHCR Türkiye in Ankara is seeking an Assistant Resettlement and Complementary Pathways Officer to support resettlement and admission operations across the country, collaborating with field offices, Country Operations, regional bureaus and external partners.

You will assist in case processing, interviews, SOP implementation, annual planning, and monitoring of submissions, while applying an Age, Gender and Diversity perspective and ensuring protection standards in close coordination with

Qualifications

1 year relevant experience with undergraduate degree; or no experience with graduate degree; or no experience with Doctorate degree.
Desirable diverse field experience.
Advanced proficiency in English and Turkish is required.

Responsibilities

Stay abreast of political, legal, social and economic developments that impact protection.
Assist SOPs for promoting resettlement and complementary pathways.
Assist in developing country resettlement and pathways strategies and annual planning.
Promote and monitor UNHCR policies, procedures and guidelines.
Guide country operations to prepare consistent, high-quality resettlement submissions.
