EY in Ankara is seeking an Intern / Assistant for the Accounting Compliance and Reporting (ACR) team. You will support daily accounting transactions and month-end closings.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in accounting/finance or business administration, have 1–3 years of general accounting experience, and command English; strong Excel/Office skills are required, and NAV/SAP/Oracle knowledge is a plus. This is a full-time role based in Ankara.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word for reporting
• Strong written and spoken English
• Familiarity with e-invoice/e-ledger
• Knowledge of Uniform Chart of Accounts
• Experience with NAV/SAP/Oracle is preferable
• Team player with adaptability

Responsabilidades

• Performing and reviewing daily accounting transactions for clients
• Closing activities: month-end, quarter-end, year-end
• Maintain reconciliations with related parties and third parties
• Prepare tax returns and other compliance requirements
• Coordinate with shared service centers and clients' tax teams abroad
• Coordinate with clients' tax offices
• Monitor legislative changes and implement when applicable
• Coordinate with other EY Tax sub-service lines and supervise the engagement team

Accounting Compliance and Reporting(ACR)serves our clients in Comprehensive Outsourcing, Accounting and Finance, Functional Outsourcing, Accounting Assistance and Consultancy (Software Implementation Support, Reporting According to International Standards of Accounting)

We are seeking forIntern / Assistant to join ourAccounting Compliance and Reporting(ACR)team inAnkarawith the following qualifications;

Your key responsibilities

• Performing and reviewing daily accounting transactions of clients,
• Performing month end / quarter end / year end closing activities,
• Maintaining reconciliations with related and third parties,
• Preparing tax returns and other compliance requirements,
• Coordination and communication with shared service centers and clients’ tax teams resident abroad,
• Coordination and communication with clients’ tax offices,
• Following legislative changes and implementing when applicable,
• Coordination with other sub-service lines of EY Tax team,
• Supervising the engagement team.

What we look for

• University degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance or Business Administration
• Knowledge of Uniform Chart of Account; experienced in general accountingfor 1 -3years
• Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills and experienced in reporting
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
Knowledge of MS NAV, SAP and Oracle accounting systems ispreferable
• Knowledge e-applications such as e-invoice, e-ledger etc.
• Proven originator and team player
• Ability to work with flexible working hours
