Job summary

PeopleCert in Istanbul seeks an experienced English Language Teacher to join our LANGUAGECERT initiative aimed at raising English proficiency in Greek schools. Plan engaging lessons, tailor activities for diverse ages, and prepare students for international exams.

Ideal candidates hold a BA in English or related field, TEFL/TESOL, and at least 2 years of teaching experience. Availability 2 PM–8 PM, Monday to Friday, and eligibility to work in Turkey are required.

Qualifications

• BA in English, Linguistics, Education or related field.
• TEFL/TESOL certification recognized.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English; CEFR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive lessons for varied ages and levels.
• Design activities promoting communicative language use.
• Assess student needs and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Monitor progress with regular assessments and feedback.
• Prepare students for LANGUAGECERT exams with practice tests.
• Maintain records of attendance and performance.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with LANGUAGECERT colleagues to refine materials.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
