Job summary

Projekts Staffing and Consulting is seeking an Automation Manager for GreenField in collaboration with a leading automotive OEM. The role focuses on PLC/HMI controls across four Powertrain APUs, ensuring safe, reliable automation from ramp-up through serial production.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI and network skills, and a track record of commissioning high-throughput lines in EV or automotive environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant engineering field.
• 5–8+ years in industrial controls, automotive/EV or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven commissioning and high-throughput production support experience.
• Experience across multiple production technologies is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and optimize PLC/HMI logic across APUs.
• Establish software standards, version control and documentation.
• Lead controls commissioning for new installations and launches.
• Support FAT/SAT, I/O validation and safety interlock testing.
• Troubleshoot PLC, motion, robot and network issues during ramp-up.
