Job summary

Şişecam is seeking an Environmental Engineer to manage permits, compliance, and emissions reporting in its industrial facilities. You will coordinate with internal teams, conduct site inspections, and drive improvements under ISO 14001 and related standards.

The role requires 3+ years in industry, English fluency, and a valid Environmental Officer Certificate; DGSA and related trainings are a plus. Based in the Mersin region with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Graduated from the Environmental Engineering department.
Valid Environmental Officer Certificate.
3+ years of experience in environmental management at industrial facilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
DGSA, ISO 14001:2015 basics and related trainings preferred.
Knowledge of air emissions, wastewater treatment, and CEMS.
Residing in or willing to reside in the Mersin region.

Responsibilities

Carry out environmental management services per permits and regulations and coordinate with authorities.
Coordinate with departments to ensure legal compliance and conduct site inspections.
Monitor waste storage, analyze waste, and seek recycling opportunities.
Oversee ISO 14001:2015 and related systems and verification processes.
Prepare management review materials and minutes.
Support environmental emergency planning and drills.
Monitor wastewater treatment plant operation and data for verification.
