Amerikan Kültür Dil Okulları in Bursa is seeking a part-time English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to learners of various ages and levels, on-site at our Bursa campus. You will plan, deliver, assess progress, and maintain attendance and performance records in line with our curriculum.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching or related field, strong teaching and communication skills, and the ability to adapt methods to diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience teaching English in a classroom or language school is an asset.
• Familiarity with the European Language Portfolio or similar frameworks is beneficial.
• Ability to create an inclusive, motivating learning environment and adapt teaching methods.
• Availability to work part time on-site in Bursa and participate in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The English Teacher role is a part-time, on-site position based in Bursa. This role involves planning and delivering engaging English lessons to learners of various age groups and proficiency levels, using modern teaching methods aligned with the school’s curriculum and the European Language Portfolio framework. The teacher will assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with academic staff on course development, and participating in meetings and trainings as required. The teacher is also expected to support learners’ language development through interactive activities and continuous encouragement.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills and be able to instruct learners at different proficiency levels.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, effective, and learner-centered courses.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with students, colleagues, and families.
• Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching, Education, English Language and Literature, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching English in a classroom or language school setting is an asset.
