Job summary

Akçansa in Turkey is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing for cement and related materials. You will manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and risk, ensuring cost efficiency and uninterrupted supply in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or SCM, at least 3 years in procurement, strong SAP/ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, tender management and supplier relations.
• Experienced in negotiating commercial agreements and optimizing procurement costs.
• ERP systems experience; SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• English proficiency (advanced).
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, compliance, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement for cement-related raw materials and additives.
• Lead sourcing and tender processes per policy and budget.
• Negotiate terms and optimize procurement costs.
• Prepare, review and manage procurement contracts with Legal, HSE, HR, and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production disruption.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance for opportunities and risks.
• Maintain ERP/SAP master data and supplier information.
• Coordinate price adjustments, reconciliations, and contract execution processes.
• Foster collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to drive efficiency and sustainability.
• Support process improvements and digitalization in procurement.
• Assess procurement risks and ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards.
