Job summary

Beko Corporate is seeking an Engineer – R&D (Basic Sciences) to join the Research and Development Directorate in Istanbul. The role involves conducting experiments to measure performance of lighting and optical units, benchmarking products, and designing alternative optical subsystems.

You will share outcomes across departments and contribute to new technologies development. Applicants should have a project-oriented mindset, strong English communication, and a zeal to work in a laboratory

Qualifications

• Experience in optical system design.
• Experience with lighting technologies / optoelectronics.
• Familiarity with optical simulation software is a plus.
• Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning concepts.

Benchmark featured units/products for in-depth analysis of the relevant systems,

Present and share the outcomes of the project across departments and functions.

How do we describe the perfect match?

Works on a project related to a master’s thesis,

Experience in optical system design, lighting technologies, and optoelectronics,

Familiarity with optical simulation software is a plus.

Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning concepts applied to experimental data processing

Ambitious to work in a laboratory, testing, and creating system prototypes,

Eager to study experimentally for developing new technologies,

Excellent verbal and written skills in English,

Thinks broadly about technology development,
