Job summary

Valmet in Istanbul seeks a Sales Manager to lead direct and indirect sales of Energy and Process automation across Turkey, with occasional responsibilities in neighboring regions. You will own the sales journey from first contact to signed deal, coordinating with local and international teams to drive growth.

The role requires 5+ years in solution sales within energy and process industries, fluency in Turkish and English, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution sales within Energy and Process Industries.
• Turkish and English fluency in technical and commercial discussions.
• Experience selling automation solutions such as DCS/PLC/SCADA.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Turkey and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive direct and indirect sales of Energy and Process automation across Turkey (and occasionally beyond).
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with forecasting and new business development.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with EPCs, partners and end clients to expand Valmet’s market presence.
• Lead consultative customer discussions from initial engagement through negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with product, project, and service teams in Turkey and abroad to ensure smooth delivery.
