Job summary

Kastamonu Entegre, a leading wood panel company, is hiring an Electrical and Energy Systems Engineer for the Gebze Factory. You will collect and analyze energy data, monitor SCADA/OPC UA/Modbus data, and develop daily and periodic energy reports and dashboards.

You will define EnPIs, benchmark across facilities, assess energy balance of generation and conversion systems, and drive energy efficiency projects with field implementation and M&V practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and data validation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power Query is a plus.
• Familiarity with energy calculations, units, and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze energy generation, consumption, and cost data from different production facilities.
• Monitor data flows from OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, and SCADA sources; check tag mapping and measurement reliability.
• Develop daily and periodic energy reports, dashboards, and data management processes; automate recurring tasks.
• Define energy performance indicators (EnPIs/KPIs), establish baseline consumption, compare performance across facilities, and conduct variance and root cause analyses.
• Assess the energy balance and efficiency of generation and conversion systems, including gas turbines, boilers, ORC, heat recovery, and cooling systems.
• Identify energy efficiency and optimization opportunities; prepare technical and economic feasibility assessments and improvement projects.
• Coordinate field implementation of energy improvement projects.
• Monitor savings using baseline and M&V approaches, and share successful practices across facilities.

Kastamonu Entegre is looking for an “Electrical and Energy Systems Engineer” to join its Electrical and Energy Systems Department in Gebze Factory.

Job Roles Details

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical thinking, numerical problem-solving, and data validation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data cleaning, pivot tables, and reporting; Power Query knowledge is an asset
• Familiarity with basic energy and engineering calculations, energy conversions, and units of measurement
• Practical knowledge of industrial data collection and communication processes, including the ability to read data via OPC UA and/or Modbus TCP/IP, connect devices, map tags, and perform basic troubleshooting
• Careful, organized, and results-oriented approach, with disciplined file, source, and report version management
