Job summary

PHINIA in Izmir, Turkey, is seeking an EHS & Sustainability Management Trainee to support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives.

You will assist in environmental compliance, wastewater treatment operations, sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas management, ISO management systems, and continuous improvement projects while contributing to a culture of safety and environmental excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Experience with environmental compliance and sustainability reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is desirable.
• Industrial wastewater treatment knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Read More**JOB PURPOSE****KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**We are seeking an EHS & Sustainability Management Trainee to support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will assist in environmental compliance, wastewater treatment operations, sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas management, ISO management systems, and continuous improvement projects while contributing to a culture of safety and environmental excellence. * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred* Experience in an industrial wastewater treatment plant and knowledge of chemical wastewater treatment operations is preferred.* Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing/production industry* Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Power BI, and data reporting tools.* Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance management, and reporting practices.
