Job summary

Maersk in Istanbul invites an experienced People Partner to support the East Mediterranean region. You will coach leaders, shape people strategies, and guide HR policy implementation across Bulgaria, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Lebanon, Romania, Ukraine, Türkiye, with 5 days in the office.

Qualifications

Min 5 years of HR generalist experience and deep understanding of HR fundamentals (recruitment, performance, engagement).
Advanced knowledge of local labor law; unionized environments experience a plus.
Experience partnering with leaders to deliver business results and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Partner with People Business Partners to execute the people strategy and support business objectives.
Build trusted relationships with leaders and advise on people-related matters and HR policies.
Drive local delivery of performance management, compensation, succession planning, and talent development.
Collaborate with HR teams to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
Use people data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Facilitate talent development and internal mobility to support workforce needs.
Work with EEO and other teams on complex employee cases and inclusive practices.
Design and deliver training sessions and people initiatives for leaders and employees.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and on-site lifecycle activities.
