Job summary

Maersk is seeking a People Partner for the East Mediterranean Area based in Istanbul. You will partner with leaders, coach and support through business transformation, covering HR generalist activities across Turkey and neighboring countries.

The role requires at least 5 years HR experience, deep HR fundamentals, and strong English; you will help drive performance, talent development, employee relations, and policy guidance while ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee engagement, and compensation.
• Advanced knowledge of local labor laws; experience with unions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to implement people strategy and drive business objectives.
• Advise on HR policies, employee relations, and organizational challenges.
• Deliver key processes: performance management, succession planning, talent development.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and on-site employee lifecycle activities.
