Job summary

Çalık Renewables, the renewables arm of the Çalık Group, is seeking a Document Control Chief to establish and maintain a robust document control system at its Istanbul HQ. The role ensures standardized, secure, accurate document flow across departments, projects and operations in line with KVKK/GDPR and ISO standards.

Reporting to the Sustainability and HSEQ Coordinator, you will manage revisions, archiving, and access control for technical drawings, contracts, and certificates, while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information and Records Management or related field.
• 8+ years in information/records management, archiving and document control.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001/27001/50001 standards and documentation requirements.
• Preferably Internal Auditor certification for these standards.
• Proficient with Aconex, M-Files, OpenText, SAP, SharePoint, MS Office and Excel.
• Experience in document control for Renewable Energy or large-scale EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and improve the document control processes across departments.
• Coordinate documentation for ISO system establishment, audits and nonconformity closure.
• Maintain and manage technical drawings, contracts, and reports within a structured documents system.
• Ensure obsolete documents are withdrawn from electronic and physical points of use.
• Archive and secure critical records in compliance with KVKK/GDPR and data retention rules.
• Manage incoming/outgoing correspondence/document processes and distribute to stakeholders.
