Job summary

Çalık Renewables is hiring a SAP Material Master (MM) Data Specialist to ensure data integrity for materials, vendors and business partners within SAP. The role reports to the Procurement and Contract Management Director and is an onsite position at our Istanbul HQ in Zincirlikuyu.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, 3+ years in renewables or related fields, SAP MM/SD experience, and strong English communication. Travel worldwide is required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial, Construction, and/or Renewable Power Plant projects.
• Working knowledge of cost control, warehouse and procurement.
• Knowledge of materials and services of renewable energy power plants a must-have.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Experience in SAP MM and/or SD Modules.
• Working proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Ability to communicate across diverse teams and travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master data in the ERP system.
• Ensure data accuracy in the ERP system.
• Process BOQ, BOM, and PO documents.
• Prepare and update material legends and procedures.
• Map and classify codes using UNSPSC hierarchy.
• Collect material information from warehouse, requesters and projects.
• Run reports daily, weekly and monthly for work groups.
• Support requesters as needed.
• Create material and services requests when required.

About the Role

Çalık Renewables is seeking a SAP Material Master (MM) Data Specialist to join our growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, integrity, and governance of core data entities—such as materials, vendors, and business partners—within the SAP environment.

SAP Material Master (MM) Data Specialist will work under direct supervision of Procurement and Contract Management Director. This is an onsite position which requires to be at HQs office at Zincirlikuyu, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Technology (IT), Business Analytics, or a related field,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial, Construction, and/or Renewable Power Plant projects,
• Working knowledge of cost control, warehouse and procurement,
• Knowledge and familiarity with materials and services of renewable energy power plants is a must-have,
• Proficiency in MS Office tools,
• Experience in SAP MM and/or SD Modules,
• Working proficiency in oral and written English,
• Ability to communicate with various work groups across different projects,
• Strong organization skills as well as detail-oriented,
• Able and willing to travel worldwide,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

• Check, map and classify the codes generated in the system using UNSPSC hierarchy,
• Collect material information from warehouse, requesters and projects,
• Run reports as per requests of work groups and projects on daily, weekly and monthly basis,
• Support requesters when needed,
• Create material and services requests, if required.
