Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Director of Safety to lead enterprise-wide safety initiatives across the Europe, Middle East operating unit. You will shape strategy, governance and performance with senior leaders and bottling partners to safeguard employees and the public while embedding a Zero is Possible culture.

You will build leadership capability, drive critical-risk management and oversee due diligence for acquisitions and new business models in a complex, multi-country environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in occupational safety or QSE with leadership in a multi-country matrix.
• Proven ability to shape strategy and influence senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in safety systems (ISO 45001) and risk-based governance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the EME Safety strategy, roadmap and annual plan with measurable outcomes.
• Lead governance, assurance and compliance with applicable law and safety standards.
• Provide strategic leadership for risk management, incident prevention and investigations.
• Establish Safety metrics, monitor OU risk and drive corrective actions.
• Influence OPEX and CAPEX priorities to address material safety risks.
• Align regions, partners and stakeholders around standards and routines.
• Build leadership capability and foster accountability for Safety as a business result.
• Lead safety due diligence for acquisitions and major changes.
