Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Istanbul seeks a Director, Safety to provide enterprise-level leadership for the Safety agenda across the Europe and Middle East Operating Unit. This role shapes strategy, governance and performance to protect employees, contractors and the public while embedding a Zero is Possible culture.

You will lead strategy, governance, risk-based assurance and incident management, align regional and bottling partner standards, and drive safety analytics.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in occupational safety, QSE, or related fields.
• Proven track record in shaping strategy and improving Safety performance.
• Strong expertise in ISO 45001 and risk-based controls.
• Ability to translate technical topics into business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the EME Safety strategy, roadmap, and plan.
• Lead risk-based governance, assurance, and legal compliance.
• Provide strategic leadership for critical-risk management and investigations.
• Establish safety metrics and ensure action on performance trends.
• Align stakeholders and lead safety due diligence for acquisitions and changes.
