Job summary

YEO, a Türkiye-based leader in energy solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Testing & Quality to lead its testing strategy across cell, module, battery pack, and system levels at its Tuzla facility. You will drive verification, validation, and accreditation efforts to meet international standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s preferred), 15+ years in battery/energy storage, lab leadership, and strong English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the battery, automotive, electronics, or energy storage industries.
• Proven experience leading testing laboratories and quality organizations.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and quality systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, UL, CE, and UN38.3.
• Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA methodologies.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s testing and quality strategy.
• Lead verification and validation activities at the cell, module, battery pack, and system levels.
• Oversee the establishment, development, and international accreditation of testing laboratories.
• Plan and manage product reliability, safety, and performance testing in accordance with international standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage customer quality requirements, certification processes, and external audits.
• Monitor and improve supplier quality performance and manufacturing quality processes.
• Provide executive management with regular reports on quality performance indicators, risks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
