Job summary

BekaertDeslee Holding invites a creative designer to join its Europe design team, contributing from briefs to finished concepts. You will work closely with design, sales and customer service to translate trends into patterns and cover designs.

You will build expertise with fabric settings and technical know-how in collaboration with the Europe design team, while maintaining strong English communication and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Arts, Design, Product Design or Textile.
• Fluent in English with strong visual communication.
• Familiar with CAD design and weaving/jacquard processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design meetings and develop concepts.
• Translate customer requests into designs and cover concepts.
• Create 3D simulations of patterns and ensure production of covers.

Profile

• Youhaveadegreeinarts,design,productdesign,textileorrelated
• Knowledgeableabouttextiles,beddingstyles,colors,andfashion.FamiliarwithCADdesignaswellastheweavingandjacquardweavingprocess
• Youarefluentin English.
• Youareacreativestimulatoranddynamicteamplayer
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,etc.)
• Akeeninterestingraphicanddigitaltools/designsoftwaresuchas,InDesign,Illustrator, PhotoshopandEAT
• Experiencein adesignjobandcommercialfeelingis amust
