Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye seeks a Chapter Lead for Advanced Analytics who will build and manage a high-impact, diverse DS chapter while contributing hands-on to delivery. You will oversee capacity planning, align with Product/Tribe Leads, coach talent, and ensure delivery excellence in data science projects.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in analytics, agile leadership, and English proficiency, with a proven track record in retail analytics and backlogs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/business field (mathematics, engineering, computer science, econometrics or likewise)
• Management experience in an Agile organization; matrix setup experience is a plus
• Strong analytic skills
• Experience as a data scientist in retail domain
• Experience/ knowledge of the business of the Tribe you work in
• Proven track record in analytics, backlog management and resource planning
• Ability to lead teams of experts in a complex, dynamic environment
• Empower teams to achieve optimum results
• Passionate about developing teams and continuous improvement
• Excellent level of English and Python/Spark
• Agile/Scrum experience

Responsibilities

• Develop a view on the future of the DS capability and drive ongoing development of your chapter members
• Coordinate with other Chapter Leads to align capabilities and capacity
• Allocate chapter capacity for global backlog delivery with Tribe Lead and Product Lead
• Lead and develop your chapter to meet career and organizational goals and drive engagement
• Contribute hands-on data scientist work to project delivery
• Manage multiple retail DS projects in lending, personalization and pricing
• Advise on craftmanship development needs for Data Science
• Manage performance of a diverse team and set objectives
• Collaborate on global backlog deliveries
• Lead talent acquisition and interviews when needed
