Job summary

Aydınlı Group, a leading Turkish fashion retailer, seeks a Data Analytics & Data Science Specialist to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. You will analyze requirements across product planning, allocation, and e-commerce, and build data models, dashboards, and forecasting tools using Python and SQL.

You will own end-to-end projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of analytical methods to drive operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in data analytics, data science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, and algorithm development with Python.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server; large datasets.
• Experience in data preparation, feature engineering, modeling, and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, ML, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical problems.
• End-to-end ownership of at least two projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements across functions, especially product planning, allocation, and e-commerce.
• Prepare, analyze, and transform large datasets for modeling using Python and T-SQL.
• Design models and algorithms using statistics, ML, optimization, and rule-based approaches.
• Develop optimization models and decision-support for allocation and planning.
• Build analytical solutions for forecasting, segmentation, classification, recommendations.
• Evaluate model performance with appropriate metrics for real-world use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into systems.
• Monitor deployed models and identify improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging analytical methodologies and apply relevant innovations.
