Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company seeks a Data Platform Engineer (Mid-level) in Turkey to transform an established data and ML platform into a scalable, self-service environment. You will build deployment pipelines, IaC modules, and reusable tooling to help teams launch and maintain data services.

You will own platform tooling, contribute to CI/CD, IaC modules, data governance, and documentation, collaborating with data, backend, and infrastructure engineers while embracing AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Deployment path ownership end-to-end with a runbook
• 2+ years of professional software/data/platform/infrastructure experience
• Degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices experience
• Ability to analyze code, troubleshoot, and explain decisions
• Experience with Docker and AWS; SageMaker not required
• Cross-functional collaboration and ownership mindset
• Willingness to learn and adopt new tools

Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines; adapt workflows for reliable delivery
• Develop infrastructure-as-code; extend modules and ensure consistency
• Apply data governance standards for new data services and infra
• Build self-service platform tooling with preconfigured CI/CD, IaC, and governance
• Create reusable modules for pipelines and platform tasks
• Improve technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
• Own data access workflows; design access-request processes
• Take ownership of template repo and infrastructure modules; roadmap decisions
• Collaborate across data, backend, and infrastructure teams
• Use AI tools responsibly; review generated code and explain reasoning
