Job summary

Jobgether partners with a project seeking a Data QA Engineer based in Turkey. You will ensure data accuracy and reliability for web data extraction projects and AI-assisted solutions, translating customer requirements into measurable quality standards.

You’ll combine exploratory testing, data analysis, and automation using Python, SQL, and modern testing tools. You’ll report findings with clear visuals and collaborate with managers, developers, and clients to raise testing practices across the

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in QA or data testing roles.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and validation (Pandas/Jupyter).
• Strong SQL skills and data validation capabilities.
• Familiarity with HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP, CSS.
• Experience testing HTTP/REST APIs.
• Knowledge of test case design and data management.
• Understanding data quality principles (completeness, accuracy, drift).
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tools to improve test generation.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer data extraction requirements into clear QA strategies.
• Perform exploratory and automated testing to ensure data quality.
• Execute test cycles on datasets and identify inconsistencies and defects.
• Document defects with reproducible steps and evidence.
• Apply statistics and visualizations to assess data quality.
• Prepare quality reports and metrics for teams and customers.
• Define testing scope, untested areas, and associated risks.
• Collaborate with managers and clients to clarify requirements.
• Contribute to test automation framework improvements.
• Suggest QA process and tooling enhancements.
