Job summary

Pazarama, the e-commerce platform backed by İş Bank, invites you to join a data-led growth team. You will build and optimize real-time data lake and data warehouse infrastructure using BigQuery and Synapse.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working in analytics, business intelligence, data infrastructure or equivalent.
• BS/MS degree in quantitative field (data science, computer engineering/science, information systems, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a similar field), or equivalent experience.
• Experience in relational (SQL Server) and non-relational databases (Mongo DB).
• Knowledge of typical BI/data analytics tools (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker).
• Knowledge of data related programming languages, such as Python, Scala.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize real-time data lake and data warehouse infrastructure using cloud data technologies (BigQuery, Synapse).
• Design and maintain scalable data engineering infrastructures, pipelines, data lakes, cloud architectures for Big Data and ML applications (using AirFlow, DataFactory etc.).
• Build and maintain analytical tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, business units and other data-driven internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for better data access and usage.
• Focus on quality, accuracy and consistency of data, reporting data quality issues to both data owners and technical staff.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the data warehouse ecosystem.

• Hands-on experience on Google Cloud data platform (BigTable, BigQuery, Looker)
• Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Be fluent in data related programming languages, such as Python, Scala
• Experience in modern DevOps practices
• Experience in cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft, Azure) with related tools
• Experience on other data related technologies such as Apache Beam, Apache Druid, Apache Nifi, AirByte
