Job summary

Intertech Information Technology and Marketing Inc. in Fatih, Istanbul, seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to join a fast-paced team.

You will manage banking applications, establish proactive monitoring, and support ITIL-aligned processes while learning new systems. The role involves working with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift, and various databases, with strong English and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate in computer engineering, CS, information systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or IT operations.
• Experience managing web server applications and infrastructure systems.
• Experience with databases such as MSSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with container platforms: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux (RHEL) systems and scripting.
• Knowledge of logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana) and APM (Dynatrace, AppResponse).
• Familiar with microservice patterns and Atlassian products; strong English.

Responsibilities

• Management of third-party banking applications.
• Set up monitoring and alerting for continuity and performance; ensure operability.
• Perform ITIL-aligned processes and learn new systems and methods.
• Keep up with technical developments and literature.
• Coordinate with audits and controls; enable necessary actions.
• Provide 24/7 availability to ensure banking system continuity.
• Integrate new hardware/software into the infrastructure and ensure system continuity in crises.
• Document problem analysis and best practices; maintain service documentation.

• Preferably a graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related engineering faculties
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• He has managed web server applications such as IIS, Nginx, Tomcat Apache and has knowledge of infrastructure system management
• He has experience working with databases such as MSSQL, MongoDB
• He has experience working on container management platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Openshift
• Experienced in Windows and Linux (RHEL) operating systems and scripting
• Experienced in logging and monitoring software such as ELK, GRAFANA
• Experienced in NPM and APM applications such as AppResponse, Dynatrace
• Has knowledge of Microservice Design Patterns and principles and has preferably been involved in microservice conversion
• Have knowledge about Atlassian products
• Who speaks English at an advanced level
• Positive, solution-oriented, analytical, oral and written communication skills are strong
• Will be able to be part of a fast-paced and fast-growing environment
• Able to show a proactive approach to the steps to identify problems, likes to research new technologies to improve his team and his own skills
• He is extremely detailed in his work, dedicated, passionate about problem solving and strategic thinking

What You\'ll Do

• Management of third-party banking applications
• Establishment of necessary monitoring and alert mechanisms for proactive monitoring of online services, equipment, and integrations in terms of continuity and performance; ensuring their operability
• Carrying out duties in accordance with ITIL processes
• Learning new systems, methods, and processes
• Following technological developments and literature
• Following up on requests received from internal/external audits, inspections, and controls, and ensuring that necessary actions are taken
• Being accessible 24/7 to ensure the continuity of banking systems
• Ensuring the integration and commissioning of newly purchased hardware and software into the infrastructure
• Ensuring the continuity of the system in extraordinary situations related to the areas of responsibility of the team
• Executing operational processes related to areas of responsibility
• Providing internal requirements related to areas of responsibility
• Preparing problem analysis/intervention best practices and emergency action procedures on a service basis, and keeping documentation up to date
