Job summary

Intertech Information Technology and Marketing Inc. is seeking a strong Linux Cloud Platforms Lead to guide a large-scale enterprise infrastructure program.

You will manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, drive automation with IaC and CI/CD, and ensure high availability, security, and performance across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience leading technical teams in enterprise infra.
• Strong Linux administration and security hardening.
• Hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift and virtualization experience.
• Proficiency with IaC/CI/CD tools and monitoring stacks.
• Understanding of networking, storage, and HA/DR.
• English communication skills; banking/regulatory exposure a plus.

• Manage large-scale Linux and container platforms for high availability.
• Operate and scale OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization environments.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments, including vendor, budget, and procurement management.
• Advanced Linux administration expertise (RHEL, Ubuntu), including performance tuning and hardening.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms (preferably OpenShift and/or Anthos), and VMware vSphere and vCenter.
• Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and OpenShift Virtualization, including running virtual machines and containers side by side on a unified platform.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and HA/DR solutions.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in banking or other regulated environments, hybrid/multi-cloud platforms, and certifications such as RHCE, RHCA, or CKA, are a plus.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Linux Cloud Platforms team, including performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
• Manage large-scale Linux and container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Anthos), ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Operate and scale OpenShift Container Platform and OpenShift Virtualization environments, leading VM migrations from VMware and the coexistence of virtualized and containerized workloads.
• Define platform architecture and modernization roadmaps aligned with our cloud strategy.
• Integrate VMware infrastructure with container and cloud-native platforms.
• Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices across infrastructure operations.
• Lead incident and problem management, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements, working closely with application, architecture, and security teams and vendors.
