About the Role
Based at the Holding headquarters in Türkiye, the Corporate Communications Director will lead Coral Travel Group’s global communications vision and manage all corporate communications activities across 21 countries, serving as a strategic communications advisor to the Board of Directors.
The position covers a broad range of responsibilities, including media and stakeholder relations, corporate reputation and crisis communications, digital communications, sustainability communications, and IPO communications.
We are looking for a communications leader who not only develops strategy but also takes a hands-on approach, personally preparing press releases, speeches, website content, and senior management presentations when required, and who is committed to delivering tangible results.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define Coral Travel Group’s corporate communications vision and strategy and manage from the Holding headquarters in Türkiye the communications activities of 37 Group companies operating across 21 countries,
- Establish a consistent communications approach, corporate tone of voice, and messaging framework across the Group, taking into account the specific needs of each country and company,
- Analyse the macro and micro environment from both digital and traditional communications perspectives and develop proactive communications plans to strengthen corporate reputation and mitigate potential reputational risks,
- Provide strategic counsel to the Board of Directors and senior management on corporate communications, executive communications, media relations, and reputation management, and manage the Group’s strategic communications agenda,
- Prepare speeches, interview content, corporate statements, briefing documents, reports, and strategic presentations on behalf of senior management,
- Manage national and international media relations and enhance the Group’s visibility through press releases, interviews, feature stories, and media engagements,
- Lead corporate reputation and crisis communications processes and develop crisis scenarios, key message frameworks, public statements, and crisis communications plans addressing potential risks,
- Manage the Group’s corporate website, social media, and digital content strategies, ensuring that all content remains current, accurate, and aligned with corporate standards,
- Develop corporate identity and visual communications standards and ensure their consistent implementation across Group companies and brands,
- Manage sustainability, corporate social responsibility, sponsorship, corporate event, and stakeholder communications in alignment with the Group’s strategy,
- Lead the communications strategy for the IPO preparation process and manage communications with investors, the media, analysts, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders in coordination with Finance, Legal, and Senior Management,
- Lead internal communications initiatives that support the employee experience, corporate culture, and Group values in coordination with Human Resources and relevant business units,
- Manage the corporate communications budget, team, and agencies; monitor objectives and performance indicators and report the results to the Board of Directors.
The Profile We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; preferably a master’s degree or MBA,
- At least 15 years of experience in corporate communications, together with a strong senior leadership track record,
- Experience in managing corporate communications within an international, multi-company, or multi-brand organisation,
- Experience in communications with investors, the media, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders during IPO and capital markets processes,
- Strong experience in media relations, corporate reputation, crisis communications, executive communications, digital communications, and content management,
- Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution,
- Strong capabilities in senior management communications, executive speeches, corporate statements, and content creation,
- Ability to communicate effectively, provide strategic counsel, and deliver presentations at Board and senior management level,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and advanced proficiency in English,
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint,
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, representation, and stakeholder management skills,
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and assume operational responsibilities when required,
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
