Job summary

Rönesans Holding seeks an experienced Contract Chief for its LNG project in Mozambique. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance and performance across multiple scopes.

You will lead contract management activities, resolve disputes, and provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders while adapting to evolving regulations and corporate methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, law, business administration, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years as contract lead/engineer or similar role.
• 3–5 years oil and gas experience.
• Full professional proficiency in English is a must.
• Contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn Rönesans methods to join a long‑term team.

Responsibilities

• Draft, monitor and review correspondence and contracts across multiple verticals and scales.
• Provide contract management services including resolving conflicts and renewing contracts.
• Supervise contract performance and ensure compliance with terms.
• Prepare reports on contract performance for the senior contract manager.
• Update and revise contracts per evolving national regulations.
• Communicate status of contracts with internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Chief to join our team our LNG Project located in Mozambique.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, law, business administration, or a similar discipline,
• 8-10 years prior experience working as a contract lead/engineer or a related job role,
• 3-5 years oil and gas experience,
• Full professional proficiency in English language is a must,
• Contract drafting and negotiation skills,
• Accuracy and high attention to detail,
• Willingness to learn and adapt Rönesans corporate methods of contract and business, management to become part of an established long-term team.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Certification or specialization in contract administration,
• Working knowledge of contract management systems or software,
• Ability to multi-task and work independently,
• Professional level of fluency in French language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft, monitor and review correspondence and contracts across various verticals and scales,
• Provide essential contract management services, by resolving conflicts, providing legal advice and renewing and redrafting contracts,
• Supervise the performance of the contract and work towards compliance with the terms and conditions mentioned in it,
• Prepare reports and documentation on the contract performance and run them by the senior contract manager (if any),
• Update and revise contracts as per the dynamic national legal regulations,
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status of the contracts.
