Job summary

Rönesans Holding seeks an experienced Planning Chief to join our team for a landmark LNG project in Mozambique. You will lead scheduling using Primavera P6, align schedules with design, procurement and construction, and provide detailed progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

You will collect data from site teams, perform schedule updates, conduct delay analyses, and develop recovery plans while supporting look-ahead planning, manpower forecasting and risk integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in project planning and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
• Experience with project control and reporting systems; Power BI or Navisworks is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Solid understanding of time extension claims, delay analysis and progress measurement.
• Experience on large-scale industrial or LNG projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent.

• Prepare detailed progress reports, S-curves, KPIs and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collect accurate progress data from site teams and perform updates.
• Conduct schedule delay analyses and prepare corrective/recovery plans.
• Support three-week look-ahead schedules, manpower planning and forecasting.
• Integrate revisions, change orders and risks into the schedule.
• Collaborate with project controls teams, site management and client reps.

We are currently seeking an experienced Planning Chief to join our team for an LNG Project to be launched in Mozambique.

What You’ll Do?

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools,
• Ensure full alignment of the schedule with design, procurement, and construction phases,
• Prepare detailed progress reports, S-curves, KPIs, and summary dashboards for internal and external stakeholders,
• Collect accurate progress data from site teams and perform timely schedule updates,
• Conduct schedule delay analyses, identify root causes, and prepare corrective/recovery action plans,
• Support the preparation of three-week look-ahead schedules, manpower planning, and forecasting studies,
• Integrate approved revisions, change orders, and associated risks into the project schedule,
• Collaborate closely with project controls teams, site management, and client representatives.

What We Expect from You?

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or a related engineering discipline,
• 5-8 years of experience in project planning and reporting,
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel,
• Experience with project control and reporting systems (experience with Power BI or Navisworks is an advantage),
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities,
