OBSS is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role focuses on Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform, and robust CI/CD pipelines in production settings.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges, optimize observability, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery across distributed systems. A strong Linux and networking background is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
• Advanced knowledge of Git and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, or Jenkins) with practical experience in build, test, and deployment workflows
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / OpenSearch)
• Operational knowledge of Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, Nginx, and distributed systems
• Proven hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and core execution workflows (terraform init, plan, apply)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals based on the OSI model (L2/Switching/MAC, L3/Routing/IP, L4/TCP/UDP, and L7/HTTP/HTTPS), as well as load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Ability to approach AI with curiosity and intention, actively incorporating AI-powered tools into workflows to enhance productivity and drive innovation

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and operate Public Cloud and Multi-Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Actively participate in cloud-to-cloud and on-prem to cloud migration projects
• Analyze cloud-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Software Architecture teams to resolve complex technical challenges
• Coordinate with technical support teams during escalation and incident management processes
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins) covering build, test, and automated deployment processes
• Develop, manage, and version Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform across the entire lifecycle (init, plan, apply, and state management)
• Perform Linux system administration (RHEL / Ubuntu) and manage core networking components across OSI layers (switching/L2, IP routing/L3, TCP/UDP/L4, and HTTP/HTTPS/L7)
• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / OpenSearch
• Manage container technologies and OCI image lifecycle
• Design and operate high availability (HA), load balancing, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
• Operate and optimize distributed systems at scale
• Prepare technical documentation, demos, and reference architectures for cloud services
