Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) seeks a Sustainable Solutions Officer for its Türkiye Resident Mission in Ankara. The role focuses on integrating climate priorities into country programming, policy dialogue, and investment project support to advance Türkiye's climate agenda.

You will coordinate with regional climate teams, engage with government partners, and contribute to knowledge sharing and capacity building. ADB offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in climate, environmental sciences, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of experience in climate change mitigation/adaptation, policy/strategy, climate finance, disaster risk management, and project implementation.
• Experience with Türkiye exposure and multilateral financial institutions preferred.
• Fluency in English and Turkish, with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support country strategy development, programming, and climate-focused engagement.
• Provide technical inputs for climate investment projects, TA, and frameworks; assist mobilization of climate finance.
• Develop knowledge management plans, disseminate climate-related information, and build external partnerships.
