Job summary

Hugent Hizmet ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti is seeking a seasoned CFO/Finance Director to drive the finance strategy and scalable governance in a technology-oriented business.

You will partner with the CEO and executive team to deliver FP&A excellence, robust cash flow management, and transparent reporting while navigating Turkish regulatory incentives and government programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA/CPA/ACCA/CFA highly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with senior exec responsibility.
• CFO/Finance Director experience in tech, software, SaaS, R&D, or innovation-led businesses.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, FP&A, treasury, tax, accounting and reporting.
• Hands-on with Technopark regulations, R&D incentives, KOSGEB grants and government support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA and/or CPA, ACCA, CFA qualifications are highly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior executive responsibility.
• Proven CFO or Finance Director experience within a technology-driven organization, software company, SaaS, R&D-focused environment, or innovation-led business.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, strategic planning, FP&A, treasury, tax, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with Technopark regulations, R&D incentives (Law No. 5746), KOSGEB grants, investment incentive programs, tax exemptions, and government support mechanisms.
• Demonstrated success in establishing financial governance, internal controls, and scalable finance organizations.
• Experience managing ERP implementations, finance transformation, and digitalization initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial mindset, and strategic decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and Boards.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• High level of integrity, business acumen, and leadership capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the company’s overall finance strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and long‑term value creation.
• Develop and execute financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance reporting processes.
• Drive strategic business partnering with the CEO and executive leadership team, providing data‑driven financial insights to support key business decisions.
• Oversee all accounting, tax, treasury, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit activities.
• Ensure full compliance with local statutory regulations, IFRS/TFRS requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Lead investor, shareholder, banking, and external stakeholder relationships where applicable.
• Manage working capital, liquidity, financing structures, and capital allocation strategies.
• Establish and continuously improve financial systems, reporting capabilities, KPIs, and performance management processes.
• Lead financial due diligence, investment evaluations, M&A activities, and strategic growth initiatives when required.
• Oversee transfer pricing, tax planning, and financial risk management.
• Ensure effective coordination with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Take ownership of digital finance transformation initiatives, leveraging ERP systems and financial technologies to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance organization while fostering collaboration across business functions.
• Oversee all government incentives, grant programs, and financial support mechanisms related to Technopark operations, R&D Law (Law No. 5746), KOSGEB programs, tax exemptions, investment incentives, and other applicable incentive schemes, ensuring maximum financial benefit and regulatory compliance.
• Partner closely with R&D, Engineering, and Technology teams to optimize financial planning for innovation projects and government‑funded initiatives.
