Job summary

Takeda is seeking a senior E&C leader for the Cluster, responsible for translating global and area ethics and compliance strategies into a local, risk-based plan and leading the cluster's E&C program execution. This role reports to the Area Head of E&C and requires directing Country E&C partners to ensure consistent governance and timely remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).
• Significant E&C, risk management and/or legal experience within healthcare/pharma or regulated industry.
• Proven leadership experience, including partnering with senior leaders and leading teams across multiple countries.
• Experience designing, implementing and overseeing E&C programmes.
• Demonstrates Takeda values (PTRB) and integrity; able to influence at executive level.
• Collaborative, pragmatic, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
• Skills: strategic business partnering, stakeholder influence, executive advisory, risk assessment and data-driven governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate Global and Area E&C strategy into a risk-based Cluster plan and lead its execution.
• Advise Cluster Head and leadership on risk-based, ethical decisions, ensuring governance input.
• Provide leadership, coaching and quality oversight to Country E&C partners.
• Chair local risk/ethics/compliance governance and oversee home LOC E&C programme execution.
• Oversee monitoring, investigations support and remediation efforts across the cluster.
• Promote integrity, psychological safety, and speak-up in leader engagement and training.
