Job summary

Ajax Systems, a leading security solutions company, seeks a senior finance leader to drive financial reporting, tax strategy, and ERP deployment for the Turkish entity. You will manage a small team, coordinate audits, and ensure strict regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong Turkish regulatory knowledge, Big 4 audit experience, and hands-on SAP expertise, with English proficiency for HQ interaction. An exciting opportunity within a growing global tech group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior accounting/finance leadership role within a manufacturing enterprise.
• Deep understanding of Turkish Free Zone regulations and tax incentives.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP) implementation/usage and Big 4 audit procedures.
• Turkish — Fluent / Native for interacting with authorities; English — Upper-Intermediate/Advanced.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.
• Oversee Tax, Statutory, and Group IFRS reporting and Big 4 audits.
• Play an active role in SAP design, implementation, and rollout for the local entity.
• Reconcile customs records with local bookkeeping and ensure Desbas Free Zone compliance.
• Supervise payroll review, social security compliance, and accurate reporting.
• Direct liaison with Turkish tax authorities, customs, and Free Zone management.
• Monitor Transfer Pricing compliance and maintain gross margin control.
• Execute ad-hoc duties as directed by Deputy Group CFO and management.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 2 finance and accounting professionals.
• Organize workload, delegate tasks, and ensure high quality and accuracy of output.

1. Reporting & Big 4 Audit:

• End-to-end responsibility for Tax, Statutory, and Group Management/IFRS reporting.
• Supervise and successfully pass Big 4 audits (both for group consolidation purposes and for securing/confirming PIT tax exemptions in the Free Zone).

1. ERP Implementation (SAP): Play an active key role in designing, implementing, and rolling out SAP for the local entity.

2. Reconciliation & Customs Accounting:

• Reconcile customs records with local bookkeeping and financial accounting.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting and reporting specifics of the Desbas Free Zone.

1. Operational Controls & Inventory: Supervise scrapping processes, scrap accounting, and components returned to suppliers.

2. Payroll Review: Perform high-level reviews of payroll calculations, social security compliance, and proper reflection in accounting and reporting.

3. Tax & Government Relations: Direct interaction and liaison with Turkish tax authorities, customs officials, and the Desbas Free Zone management administration.

4. Transfer Pricing (TP) & Profitability: Monitor Transfer Pricing compliance and ensure proper gross margin control for the local entity.

5. Ad-Hoc Duties: Execute other finance, operational, or business-related tasks as assigned by the Deputy Group CFO and company management to support business growth.

Requirements:
