Senior Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will manage defining the business needs and goals, implementing data mining and cleansing techniques, providing insights and telling stories. You will work with Technology Product Teams, Business Intelligence Developers, Data Engineers and Managers to provide solutions to the business problems through both small-sized deliverables in a fast and safe manner in addition to permanent high-quality solutions that will be accepted as standard in the company.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding business problems and identifying the needs of cross functional teams.
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights using various big data analytic frameworks.
• Find patterns, anomalies, trends etc. in large and complex data sets related to various fields of ecommerce business in order to provide operational excellence.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and develop interactive dashboards, reports etc.
• Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, data cleansing and data visualization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Statistics, computer science, engineering, Econometry, etc.)
• 4+ years of work experience in data analytics, data engineering or business intelligence fields.
• 4+ years hands on experience with SQL
• Strong data analytical and problem‑solving skills (analyze, interpret, model etc.)
• Strong level of statistics concepts and methods knowledge
• Eager to learn and share knowledge with others

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in A/B Test Methodologies and Funnel Analysis
• Experience and strong understanding in Big Data Environments (preferably BigQuery)
• Experience with building interactive visualization and BI platforms (preferably Looker Studio and Qliksense)
• Basic knowledge on machine learning algorithms
• Experience in Scrum methodologies
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitLab
