Job summary

Entek Elektrik, part of Koç Holding's energy division, seeks an experienced professional for growth in renewable energy investments, with emphasis on international markets and Europe. The role requires 6–8 years in energy markets, strong English, and stakeholder management skills, with frequent international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in business development, project development, investment analysis, or renewable energy markets.
• Hands-on experience in renewable energy investments (wind/solar), greenfield development, acquisitions, or partnerships.
• International business/project experience, preferably in European energy markets.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, incentives, and competition.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess renewable energy investment opportunities, with focus on international markets and Europe.
• Conduct market research, sector analyses, and market-entry assessments for geographies and technologies.
• Evaluate investment opportunities from technical, commercial, financial, regulatory, and strategic angles.
• Develop business cases, investment analyses, and strategic recommendations for decision-making.
• Coordinate due diligence across technical, commercial, legal, financial, tax, and environmental workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Master’s degree is considered an asset.
• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in business development, project development, investment analysis, or renewable energy markets.
• Hands-on experience in renewable energy investments, preferably including wind and solar projects, greenfield development, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
• International business or project experience, preferably within European energy markets.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, incentive mechanisms, and competitive dynamics.
• Experience in technical, commercial, financial, legal, tax, environmental, or strategic due diligence processes is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess renewable energy investment and growth opportunities in line with Entek’s strategic priorities, with a particular focus on international markets and Europe.
• Conduct market research, sector analysis, and market-entry assessments to identify attractive geographies, technologies, and business opportunities.
• Evaluate investment opportunities from technical, commercial, financial, regulatory, and strategic perspectives.
• Develop business cases, investment analyses, management presentations, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
• Contribute actively to the assessment, development, acquisition, and partnership processes of renewable energy projects.
• Monitor energy market developments, regulatory changes, incentive schemes, and competitive dynamics across target markets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence processes, including technical, commercial, legal, financial, tax, and environmental workstreams.
• Manage collaboration with external consultants, advisors, project developers, and other business partners throughout investment evaluation processes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with relevant internal teams during business development, investment assessment, and project execution stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across target markets.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, timelines, and investment plans.
