Enerjisa Üretim in Istanbul’s Ataşehir Head Office seeks a seasoned Corporate Social Manager to lead social performance, community relations, and human rights due diligence across projects. You will steer social impact strategies, engage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with ESG commitments.

The role demands extensive field work, cross-functional leadership, and a track record in social investment and just transition initiatives. Hybrid model with international standards experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years in social performance, stakeholder engagement, or related fields.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder processes.
• Knowledge of international social standards and sustainability frameworks.
• Experience designing social impact assessments and community investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the company’s social performance, community relations and social impact management strategy across all operations,
• Ensure alignment with international standards, lender requirements and the company’s ESG commitments, with a particular focus on social performance and stakeholder engagement,
• Oversee social impact assessments, stakeholder engagement processes, grievance mechanisms and impact mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle,
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with local communities, public institutions, civil society organizations, financial institutions and other key stakeholders,
• Lead the company's human rights due diligence processes and support the integration of human rights considerations into business operations and decision-making,
• Develop innovative social investment, community development and just transition initiatives that create measurable and long-term social value,
• Provide visible leadership on social performance topics, representing the company in external platforms, industry initiatives and stakeholder forums,
• Conduct regular field visits and maintain a strong on-site presence to ensure effective stakeholder engagement, issue resolution and alignment between corporate commitments and field implementation,
• Lead, mentor and develop the Corporate Social team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative and impact-oriented culture,
• Monitor emerging social risks, stakeholder expectations and global ESG trends, translating them into actionable strategies and programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences such as Sociology, Public Administration, Political Science, Communication, International Relations or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred,
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in social performance, stakeholder engagement, community relations, human rights, sustainability or related fields,
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder engagement processes,
• Strong knowledge of international social standards and sustainability frameworks, including stakeholder engagement, social impact management, grievance mechanisms and human rights due diligence,
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing social impact assessments, community investment programs and social risk mitigation measures,
• Strong field orientation, with a willingness to travel frequently and engage directly with local communities and stakeholders,
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups,
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution, project management and problem-solving capabilities,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
• No travel restrictions,
• Experience in the energy, infrastructure, mining, industrial or other project-based sectors will be considered an advantage.
