Lidya Madencilik is looking for a highly motivated Business Development & Corporate Finance Manager / Assistant Manager to join its growing team.
This role is designed for a strong finance professional who can support and lead a broad range of strategic and financial initiatives, including M&A transactions, project finance processes, bank and lender relations, investment analysis, financial modelling, strategic partnerships, and corporate finance projects.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial judgment, high ownership, disciplined execution, and the ability to work closely with senior management, shareholders, financial institutions, advisors, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and/or lead M&A, joint venture, strategic partnership, and business development opportunities, including target screening, valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiation support, and execution
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, investment cases, sensitivity analyses, and management presentations
- Take an active role in project finance and debt financing processes, including lender communication, information package preparation, financial model coordination, term sheet review, due diligence, and closing processes
- Support ongoing banking relationships, financing alternatives, credit processes, covenant tracking, refinancing opportunities, and corporate finance initiatives
- Prepare high-quality reports, board materials, investment memoranda, market analyses, and strategic decision-support documents
- Coordinate with internal departments, technical teams, legal advisors, financial advisors, banks, consultants, and other external stakeholders
- Monitor mining, commodities, capital markets, financing trends, and relevant strategic developments in Türkiye and international markets
- Contribute to finance, strategy, and business development projects as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or similar qualifications are a plus
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, project finance, M&A advisory, private equity, Big Four transaction services, banking, or corporate business development
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and presentation skills
- Prior exposure to M&A, project finance, debt financing, or strategic investment processes is strongly preferred
- Experience in mining, metals, energy, infrastructure, natural resources, or capital-intensive industries is a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail, business judgment, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
- High ethical standards, discretion, ownership mindset, and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
- A self-starter who is comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and execution-oriented environment
