Job summary

ColendiBank in Istanbul is seeking a Business Analyst - Treasury to join our growing team. You will work with product managers, developers, QA and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical specifications, with a focus on digital banking and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of treasury-related business analysis or treasury operations in banking.
• Experience in money market, liquidity management, or funding processes.
• Understanding of treasury integrations with accounting, payment systems, and risk monitoring.
• Knowledge of SWIFT and local payment systems (EFT / FAST) a plus.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Knowledge of SDLC, BA methodologies, and software development practices.
• Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, BPM tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io), and SQL is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and backlog grooming.

We are looking for a Business Analyst - Treasury to join our growing team in Istanbul. This role will report to the Business Analyst Lead, and will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving digital banking products and core banking processes, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and customer-centric delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document treasury-related processes including liquidity management, money market operations, and regulatory reporting.
• Work closely with treasury, risk, and finance teams to translate trading, funding, and liquidity requirements into system specifications.
• Analyze treasury workflows such as money market transactions, liquidity monitoring, and funding operations, ensuring system alignment with business needs.
• Support integration and process design for treasury-related systems including core banking, payment systems, and accounting interfaces.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in treasury-related business analysis or treasury operations within the banking sector.
• Experience in treasury operations such as money market products, liquidity management, or funding processes within a banking environment.
• Understanding of treasury-related integrations with accounting, payment systems, and risk monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of payment infrastructures such as SWIFT and local payment systems (EFT / FAST) is considered a plus, particularly in relation to treasury fund transfers, liquidity movements, and correspondent banking operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, SDLC, and software development practices.
• Hands-on experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence, BPM tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io), and SQL is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and understanding of backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
