Job summary

ColendiBank is seeking a Treasury Trading Manager to join its growing core team in Istanbul. This role will create, execute and manage strategic trading positions across fixed income, FX, derivatives and related markets for both Banking Book and Trading Book.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute and manage strategic trading positions for Trading Book and contribute to Banking Book strategy.
• Participate in FX auto-hedge mechanisms and treasury tool integrations.
• Maintain treasury counterpart relations and monitor regulatory reporting requirements.
• Oversee trading exposure, performance and infrastructure improvements.
• Support internal and external reporting and compliance obligations.

Job Description

We’re seeking a Treasury Trading Manager to become a member of our growing core team in Istanbul.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute and carry strategic trading positions, mainly for the Trading Book (but also contibute to Banking Book strategy); using a broad range of fixed income and capital markets products - TL & FC / domestic & private - as well as FX, Precious Metals, Derivatives; both for Banking Book and Trading Book (including client flow).
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of the FX auto-hedge mechanism.
• Take part in the establishment and maintanence of Treasury relations with counterparts.
• Participate in integration projects of all tools and collaborations in the treasury topology & ecosystem.
• Monitor global and local markets, as well as regulatory framework, provide Trading and Balance Sheet strategies.
• Act within internal & external limits; monitor and report trading exposure and performance; improving and maintaining necessary infrastructure.
• Contribute to regulatory and internal reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Economy, Engineering or relevant departments.
• Capital Markets Board of Turkey Derivative Instruments License and Capital Market Activities Level 3 License are must.
• 5+ years of experience in Bank Treasury - Trading and/or ALM departments; rotation experience is a plus.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in treasury systems, Bloomberg, trading platforms is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge in Digital Assets is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A data-centric and meticulous approach.
• An analytical, logical, and methodical way of thinking.
• Ability to make recommendations for improvement and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results.
