Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts, coordinating closely with department heads and key stakeholders.
- Conduct benchmarking and performance analyses using HotStats and competitive set data.
- Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including RevPAR, ADR, GOP, GOPPAR, and flow‑through.
- Prepare monthly financial reports in compliance with USALI standards.
- Develop and analyze departmental Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Prepare monthly Management Performance Reports (MPR) and management reporting packages.
- Support group reporting and consolidation requirements through Hyperion.
- Lead Financial Performance Review (FPR) processes and prepare presentations for Owner Meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance and reporting within the hospitality industry; experience in luxury or five‑star hotel environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of USALI standards.
- Hands‑on experience with Hyperion (Planning / Smart View) and SUN Systems; familiarity with Opera and Micros/Symphony is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience working with HotStats and other benchmarking tools.
- Sound knowledge of Turkish accounting and tax regulations, including VUK and TFRS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
