Job summary

KST LAW in Istanbul is seeking a Billing Manager to own the revenue cycle, billing operations, and related financial tracking. You will ensure accurate, timely invoicing and oversee e-billing submissions with a focus on efficiency and compliance.

You will work closely with attorneys and partners, manage WIP and unbilled time, and drive process improvements to improve realization rates and reduce write-offs. This is a 100% on-site role in Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in financial billing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong spoken English.
• Familiarity with LEDES/e-billing platforms and legal practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full client billing cycle, pre-bill workflow, and e-billing submissions.
• Monitor WIP, unbilled time, and client invoice queries; resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with partners on billing guidelines, retainers, and complex inquiries.
• Communicate billing guidelines and fee arrangements clearly to stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to speed up realization and reduce write-offs.
• Generate weekly and monthly billing reports, including realization and collections metrics.
