Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with AI research labs. We seek a bilingual Turkish Generalist Expert — AI Safety to craft expert Turkish prompts, apply guidelines, and document reasoning to improve model safety.

The role is remote, 20+ hours per week, starting immediately. A native Turkish speaker with business English and a bachelor’s degree is required, with strong attention to detail and sound judgment on sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Turkish.
• Business-level written English.
• A Bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.
• Strong written reasoning and high attention to detail.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Responsibilities

• Write expert-level prompts in Turkish across a range of sensitive subject areas.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns. Document the reasoning behind your judgments.
• Evaluate and strengthen how AI models handle sensitive topics in Turkish.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model safety.
